October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and each WRAP office is recognizing the event in a unique way. Check out each county’s page inside to see what’s planned in your region. See the Lincoln County page for a history of this event.

Charitable Giving Tax Relief Act
Becomes Minnesota Law!
Minnesota has become the first state in the nation to allow taxpayers who do not itemize to take a tax deduction for their charitable giving! The new law allows for a 50% tax deduction for non-itemizers for charitable donations after $500. Any nonprofit organization is eligible who has a 501 (c)(3) status, which includes all of our WRAP offices. For more information call your local WRAP office or the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits at 651-642-1904, or visit their website.
