Homeschool Days at the Jeffers Petroglyphs Historic Site       Starting in September 2003, we made arrangements with the Jeffers Petroglyphs Historic Site to begin doing "Homeschool Days" - special events open only to homeschool families. Each day has its own theme, projects, activities, and take-home projects, with something for everyone from toddlers to teens. There are worksheets, coloring pages, and handouts to continue the lessons at home.       Each event will include opportunities to take part in hands-on archaeology where students will learn through doing. They will be working with real artifacts, tools, and materials .       We will be having them on the 4th Tuesday of each month for 2004-2005, excluding December. Admission is at the special group rate of $1.50 per person, with children 3 and under and MHS members admitted free.
