In addition, we also need clothing for women and children, canned foods, personal care products, cellular telephones you no longer need (for victim emergency situations), and any other items that can be used by victims and their children at our shelters/transitional housing and once they are out on the road to independence (many for the first time in their lives). Charity Cars If you have an old vehicle you would like to donate, call 1-877-900-9975. That is our own special number with them. If the car in fixable, they will repair it and give it to one of our clients. If it is not, we will receive 50% of the price at auction. Volunteer Program In order to meet the needs of the many victims of domestic violence in our community, we need concerned citizens to volunteer their time to assist us in our shelters and in the implementation of our many assistance programs. Only with the help of a committed volunteer group can we can hope to expand the availability of our services to the many victims of domestic violence that need our support and assistance.
