This introductory course is for students planning to take the PSAT/NMSQT or SAT tests in the fall. It prepares them for the critical reading and writing sections on the PSAT and SAT. Students will work with actual questions taken from previously administered PSAT or SAT tests. Test taking techniques and strategies will be emphasized.
Students may buy either the PSAT or SAT preparation book, according to which test individuals will be taking first, in the Lamplighter store.

This course is for students planning to take the ACT exam in the upcoming school year. It seeks to prepare first-time test-takers as well as those aiming to improve a score. Students will work with actual questions taken from previously administered ACT exams. Test taking techniques will be included.
