2008 Events At A Glance
July 4, 10 AM - 5 PM An Old-Fashioned Fourth of July The Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebration has many activities, including the Annual Prairie Power Reapers Reunion, a tractor parade, a tractor pull, heritage displays and celebrations, a food station, and a melodrama. Performances are at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on July 4th. Sarsaparillas will be available. October 31, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Halloween Trail Pioneer Village is set up to look just like a ghost town for Halloween night. Have the kids come out and take the Halloween Trail! December 4 & 5, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. An Old-Fashioned Christmas Start celebrating the Christmas season out at Pioneer Village. Enjoy the season by taking a ride to dinner on a wagon ride. Eat a meal in the Red Garter Saloon before taking in one of the many shows that are happening during the night, while sipping on some hot cider. Whether it is a sing-a-long at the church or watching a dance show, there is a variety of shows to partake in. And just when you think your night is done, Santa will drop by. |
